RESEARCH & KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER
Evidentia
Coming Soon: Evidentia is a retrieval-augmented system built specifically for anaerobic digestion, drawing on peer reviewed scientific literature.
Building Evidentia
Evidentia emerged in response to a perceived lack of coherent, timely and accessible information for the general public about anaerobic digestion projects and wider circular bioeconomy changes. We are building a hand‑curated, retrieval‑augmented evidence base so that local groups, residents and community organisations can ask hard questions and receive clear, traceable answers grounded in peer‑reviewed research and robust public reports – especially important in an age of AI‑driven mis‑ and disinformation and polarised debate.
Once complete Evidentia will work very simply: ask it a question and it will answer, grounded in scholarly research. If it does not know the answer, Evidentia ask you to input your email address and a team member will get back to you (with a supported answer)!
How we build the evidence base
Every source in Evidentia is chosen by hand. We find peer-reviewed research published in reputable journals, screen it for relevance to the questions the sector is actually asking, and add only what holds up.
The corpus grows topic by topic, across anaerobic digestion, biochar, social licence and community acceptance, and the wider science of the circular bioeconomy. As each area is covered, Evidentia can answer across it, always citing it's sources and always without the jargon.
If you'd like more information on Evidentia, or to contribute research to the corpus, we'd like to hear from you.
